Due to current situation out there in the world (which I'm sure everyone is more than aware of), I can't be with my best friend to wish her Happy Birthday for this special one, that we'd always thought we'd celebrate together.

To wish her the best while she's on her way to the beaches of Baltic Sea, I'd like to give her this virtual present - our field recordings from last summer's trip to the same place. I say 'our' as she took a great part in choosing the places, listening with me and even holding the microphone sometimes(!). It was wonderful to rediscover these places and sit silently together, appreciating the landscapes that we both know well from our childhoods. I hope this little sonic reflection on time and space will bring us closer together today.

Put some headphones on, and take a trip with us there.
